16 June 2010Semi-Permanent 2010 (Look Mum, no flash)
We really enjoyed ourselves at Semi-Permanent 2009 last year and as such we've decided we just can't help ourselves - we have to get involved again this year - so we built their website for them. Designed by The Church - it was quite the site for technically what is basically a one page website - loads of javascript/ajax goodness and on demand loading of images, sortable speaker boxes (just drag em - it remembers for next time too!).Anyway being that's what we like doing it we got it done just shy of 500 lines of javascript (not counting jquery library and associated plugins) and our own crossFade jQuery plugin got a major working over too.
Bla bla bla - that's enough technical stuff - we hope you like the site, we're really looking forward to going to Semi and meeting new designers who just want to design websites like they want them and make us get it to work (plus sort out everything else like hosting, domains, emails, backups, training support, upgrades etc with all the best providers and at no extra cost!).
